BOOKING

Book Studio A or Studio B online, or send an inquiry for full-floor buyouts and memberships. Bookings are confirmed on payment. Two-hour minimum. Open 8am to 8pm daily. Your booking time includes setup and strike. Arrive ready.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Reschedule or cancel up to 48 hours before your start time and the full amount is held as studio credit, good for 12 months. Inside 48 hours, the booking is charged in full. Weather and illness are not exceptions; we’ll always try to move you, but we can’t promise it.

OVERTIME

Running long is billed at the room’s hourly rate (Studio A $85, Studio B $65, full floor $100 at the founding rate) in 30-minute increments, subject to the next booking. If you think you’ll need more time, tell us before your session starts.

CAPACITY

Studio A holds 30 people, Studio B holds 15. Counts include crew, talent, and clients. Larger productions book the full floor.

THE SPACE

Leave it as you found it. Cyc wall: no shoes, tape, or rolling equipment on the curve without floor protection. Normal scuffing is expected; heavy marks, tape residue, or paint mean a $150 refinish charge. Damage beyond that is billed at cost.

NOT PERMITTED WITHOUT WRITTEN APPROVAL

Open flame, haze or smoke, confetti or glitter, paint, animals, alcohol, nudity, and anything that requires rigging from the ceiling or exceeds standard household power draw. Ask. Most of it can be arranged.

INSURANCE

Productions with 10 or more people, outside equipment rentals, or rigging require a certificate of insurance naming Lafayette Studios LLC and the building owner as additional insured, sent 48 hours before the booking. Everyone else is covered under the studio’s house policy for ordinary use. You are responsible for your gear, your crew, and your talent.

LOAD-IN

Freight elevator to the 3rd floor. Free parking on site. Load-in and load-out happen inside your booked time.
